On the first floor there is a purpose built 
art room with exposed roof timbers 
and roof lights. 

We want to retain and increase access 
for local people, and create a centre 
where groups of all kinds can mingle 
and develop awareness of the arts in 
a building designated for this purpose.

We intend to preserve the community 
and educational functions of the building, 
in tune with the high ideals of the 
founding fathers of the town. 
Access will be greater than ever before.
