The vision is to transform an Edwardian 
Technical College built in 1907 and housing 
around 1,680 sq.m of space into a 
Community Arts Centre for St Annes. 

When used as a college it was laid out on 
three floors and "L" shaped. The lower floor 
being a semi basement containing classrooms.

The ground floor is reached by a flight of steps 
at the front forming a grand entrance. 

There are a series of classrooms and smaller 
rooms on this floor and that above. 

He says: 

“Perhaps this is an ambitious 
idea, but it was my old college 
and it should not be turned into 
flats.”
